Program Grants Officer (Latin America)

What you will do

• Manage a portfolio of Spanish-speaking partners, overseeing budget reviews and expense reporting.
• Support the annual partner grant agreement process and ensure compliance with subaward policies.
• Update project management tools and Salesforce with accurate grant renewal and amendment data.
• Conduct annual risk assessments and provide training to partners on financial protocols.
• Support the finance team during annual audits related to partner grants.
• Develop strategies to improve process efficiency and transparency.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree with at least 5 years of relevant experience in finance, accounting, or international development.
• Fluent in Spanish and English (written and verbal).
• Must be based in Latin America with a valid work permit for the country of residence.
• Ability to travel internationally at least four times per year.
• Strong analytical skills and proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
• Experience in international subawards or grants management.

Nice to have

• Portuguese language skills.
• Familiarity with Salesforce or similar cloud-based CRM platforms.
