DC Power Engineer (Critical Power)

Location: Ireland based (80–90% Dublin, 10–20% wider Ireland travel)

What you will do

• Perform planned preventative maintenance on hirify.global/Emerson 48v DC Power systems.
• Lead and assist in the installation and commissioning of new 48v DC systems.
• Maintain and support 380v HVDC systems upon completion of specialized training.
• Manage battery builds, replacements, and comprehensive testing.
• Resolve technical issues both remotely and directly on customer sites.
• Handle post-work documentation and support mobile data center callouts.

Requirements

• Must be based in Ireland with ability to travel (Dublin and wider Ireland).
• Full driving licence is mandatory.
• Comfortable with a physical, hands-on role involving lifting battery blocks and working in live environments.
• Positive attitude and genuine willingness to learn; no extensive experience required.
• Basic electrical knowledge or background is considered a bonus.

Nice to have

• Previous experience with 48v DC or low power UPS.
• 18th Edition electrical qualification.
