What you will do
- Lead the development of customer and market narratives for key strategic planning processes, including Quarterly Business Reviews (QBRs) and Medium-Term Planning (MTP).
- Partner with senior strategy stakeholders to provide evidence-based insights on market dynamics, competitive positioning, and brand performance.
- Synthesize primary research, secondary data, and market intelligence into actionable strategic recommendations.
- Support strategic planning and transformation by assessing macroeconomic, technological, and industry developments.
- Define and prioritize the Group Insight roadmap aligned with key business priorities.
- Manage external insight partners and analyst relationships, overseeing a c.£2m investment.
Requirements
- Strong expertise in insight generation using both primary and secondary research sources.
- Proven ability to synthesize complex information into compelling narratives for senior executives and board-level audiences.
- Demonstrated experience leading and developing high-performing teams.
- Must be based in or able to work from London or Manchester (UK).
Nice to have
- Experience in strategy, consulting, or similar analytical roles.
- Strong understanding of the telecoms and technology market landscape.
- Experience with AI-enabled research approaches and synthetic audiences.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, agile environment.
