What you will do

• Act as the site technical authority for packaging processes, equipment, and materials including blisters, bottles, and cartons.
• Provide day-to-day technical support and troubleshooting to resolve operational packaging issues and improve process robustness.
• Manage packaging change controls, artwork updates, equipment modifications, and technology transfers.
• Lead continuous improvement initiatives using Lean and Six Sigma methodologies to optimize throughput and yield.
• Execute qualification and validation activities including IQ/OQ/PQ protocols and risk assessments.
• Author and approve critical GMP documentation such as SOPs and technical reports.

Requirements

• Must be based in or able to work onsite in Cambridge, UK.
• Proven experience in solid dose pharmaceutical packaging or manufacturing.
• Strong working knowledge of GMP and regulatory requirements.
• Practical experience with root cause analysis and structured problem solving.
• Experience with packaging validation, qualification activities, and OEE systems.
• Degree in Pharmaceutical Sciences, Chemical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related discipline.
