What you will do

• Take ownership of assigned semiconductor manufacturing processes, including diffusion, thermal processing, and metallisation.
• Optimise process parameters to ensure stable, repeatable manufacturing performance.
• Monitor process performance using SPC and report key yield metrics.
• Analyse process, electrical, and metrology data to identify trends and yield loss mechanisms.
• Investigate production issues using structured methodologies like 8D, 5-Why, or A3.
• Develop and maintain process documentation, including SOPs and risk assessments.

Requirements

• HNC/HND or Degree in Engineering or a related discipline.
• Experience within a semiconductor or advanced manufacturing environment.
• Strong analytical skills for interpreting process and yield data.
• Proficiency with SPC and data analysis tools.
• Familiarity with structured problem-solving methodologies.
• Ability to work effectively in a cross-functional engineering team.

Nice to have

• Experience with Design of Experiments (DOE).
• Knowledge of thin film deposition techniques.
• Lean Six Sigma Green Belt certification.
