What you will do
- Develop and maintain operational application performance monitoring dashboards using Dynatrace out-of-the-box capabilities.
- Monitor operational events to detect and escalate exception conditions; support a continual cycle of monitoring, reporting, and coordinated operational response.
- Operate a communications/coordination bridge for centralized handling of operational events, incidents, and routine operational reporting.
- Deploy and support Application Performance Management tools and address performance-related production issues.
- Analyze performance data, identify root causes of negative trends, and implement countermeasures to reduce recurring incident frequency.
- Use tools such as ServiceNow, Splunk, SSH clients, and Dynatrace for incident monitoring, management, and documentation; assist Tier 2/3 teams with testing and pre-deployment updates/patches.
Requirements
- Location/Work arrangement: Full remote position; must be able to work the 9AM–6PM CST schedule (flexibility required).
- 2–5 years (or commensurate) experience with large-scale applications, monitoring, and fault management.
- Strong experience with Linux systems.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills; ability to track multiple deadlines in parallel and coordinate between support and development teams.
- Ability to do limited travel (0–4 times per year).
- Clearance Required: Must be able to attain and maintain AOUSC Public Trust.
Nice to have
- 2+ years hands-on experience installing/configuring/troubleshooting Dynatrace components.
- 2 years of experience with ITIL processes; ITIL v3 or v4 certification/training.
- 5+ years technical knowledge of TCP/IP, DNS, network devices, and protocols and their impact on web performance.
- 3+ years hands-on experience with performance tuning and capacity planning.
- Experience with court operations, processes, and procedures.
