What you will do

• Install, configure, and maintain enterprise Linux distributions including RHEL, Rocky Linux, and Ubuntu.
• Perform OS hardening according to DISA STIGs and CIS Benchmarks to ensure security compliance.
• Manage lifecycle operations, patch management, and vulnerability remediation for Linux servers.
• Automate system administration tasks using scripting and configuration management tools.
• Support continuous asset discovery, inventory management, and configuration monitoring.
• Integrate Linux infrastructure with enterprise identity, authentication, and cloud-hosted environments.

Requirements

• Must hold or be able to obtain a Public Trust clearance.
• B.S. in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• 5+ years of professional experience in Linux systems administration and engineering.
• Proven experience supporting federal or enterprise-level cybersecurity infrastructure.
• Strong knowledge of Linux security hardening, patch management, and continuous monitoring programs.
• Proficiency in managing enterprise Linux environments and system services.

Nice to have

• RHCSA or RHCE certification
• LPIC-2 or LPIC-3 certification
• Linux+ certification
