What you will do

• Conduct verification and validation (V&V) for medical and non-medical device software.
• Review software requirements, architecture, and detailed designs to provide professional feedback on testability and reliability.
• Develop V&V strategies, test plans, and detailed test cases based on project requirements.
• Execute various testing phases, including unit, integration, system, and regression testing.
• Build and maintain test environments, including software-hardware integration and simulation setups.
• Manage the full defect lifecycle from discovery and localization to tracking and closure.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree or higher in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
• 3+ years of experience in software testing or verification and validation (V&V).
• Proficiency in at least one programming or scripting language such as Python, Java, C/C++, or Shell.
• Experience with test management and defect tracking tools including Jira, Git, and ZenTao.
• Knowledge of automation frameworks such as Selenium, Appium, Pytest, or JUnit.
• Location: Must be based in Suzhou, China.

Nice to have

• Familiarity with static/dynamic analysis tools like SonarQube, Coverity, or Klocwork.
• Knowledge of performance testing tools (JMeter, LoadRunner) or security testing fundamentals.
• Experience with Linux environments and Docker for test environment deployment.
• Knowledge of industry standards such as IEC 62304 and ISO 13485.
