What you will do

• Build and maintain automated test suites for web, API, and workflow-based systems.
• Design reliability-focused test coverage for critical insurance workflows, including quotes, claims, and payments.
• Identify and validate edge cases, failure paths, and system inconsistencies.
• Improve regression testing coverage to reduce recurring defects in production.
• Collaborate with Malaysia-based engineering and product teams to ensure feature reliability before release.
• Track and document bugs with clear reproduction steps and impact analysis.

Requirements

• Experience in QA automation, test engineering, or software quality assurance roles.
• Ability to build automated tests for real-world web and backend workflow systems.
• Proficiency in API testing, UI testing, and end-to-end testing approaches.
• Must be based in China.
• Strong ownership mindset toward product quality and system reliability.
• Strong attention to detail with the ability to identify edge cases.

Nice to have

• Experience with Playwright, Cypress, Selenium, or similar automation frameworks.
• Proficiency with API testing tools such as Postman or RestAssured.
• Experience with CI/CD-integrated testing pipelines.
• Background in fintech, insurance, or AI-driven automation products.
• Understanding of distributed systems or event-driven workflows.
