Network Engineer

TL;DR

What you will do

• Configure and maintain enterprise routers, switches, firewalls, and VPNs.
• Implement and manage routing protocols including OSPF, BGP, and EIGRP.
• Monitor network performance and resolve latency, packet loss, and connectivity incidents.
• Enforce network security policies, segmentation, and intrusion prevention systems.
• Conduct capacity planning and optimize network redundancy and failover.
• Maintain accurate network diagrams, topology maps, and operational documentation.

Requirements

• 3+ years of professional network engineering experience.
• Strong understanding of TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VLANs, and QoS.
• Hands-on experience with Cisco environments or equivalent enterprise platforms.
• Excellent written and verbal English communication skills.
• Ability to work during U.S. business hours.
• Strong troubleshooting mindset for critical incident resolution.

Nice to have

• Cisco CCNA or CCNP certifications.
• Experience with Palo Alto, Fortinet, or Juniper firewalls.
• Knowledge of AWS VPCs, Azure VNets, or hybrid cloud networking.
• Familiarity with automation tools like Python, Ansible, or Terraform.
