Referral Network Engineer (Cisco)

What you will do

• Provide daily operational and sustainment support for DHA LAN/WLAN/WAN networks.
• Plan, install, and support critical hardware and software upgrades.
• Implement enterprise changes according to approved LAN/WLAN/WAN standards.
• Utilize SolarWinds, ARMIS, and Ansible to resolve network and routing issues.
• Support network security barrier systems and use diagnostics to isolate latency, bottlenecks, and protocol issues.
• Manage routed, switched, and shared LAN environments using Microsoft OS, Windows Active Directory, and UNIX.

Requirements

• DoD 8570.01 / 8570.01-M compliance at IAM Level II or equivalent.
• Security+ and CCNA or equivalent network architecture certification.
• Bachelor’s degree in a technical discipline plus 5 years of experience, or vocational school plus 8 years of experience.
• Proficiency in TCP/IP, BGP, OSPF, EIGRP, and other DoD/DHA communications media.
• Experience with OTDR, cable testers, and network sniffers.
• ADP sensitivity determination required.
