Junior Accountant (Gamedev)

What you will do

• Post journal entries to ensure all business transactions are recorded accurately.
• Manage Accounts Payable (AP) tasks, including vendor setup, purchase orders, invoices, and bank payments.
• Research and resolve invoice discrepancies and issues.
• Assist with the monthly and yearly financial closing processes.
• Prepare audit information to meet monthly and yearly requirements.
• Support the team with other accounting and administrative-related tasks.

Requirements

• Organized and accurate approach to tasks with the ability to meet tight deadlines.
• Strong teamwork skills and ability to collaborate across different groups.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Fluency in English (written and spoken) is required.
• Must be able to work from the Barcelona office 4 days per week.

Nice to have

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Accounting, or a related field.
• Excellent knowledge of MS Office, specifically Excel and PowerPoint.
• Experience in a similar accounting role.
• Familiarity with accounting software.
