What you will do

• Manage the planning, budgeting, and monitoring of programme initiatives in alignment with national development priorities.
• Collaborate with education, health, and child protection sections to integrate social policy interventions.
• Strengthen social protection systems and public financing strategies for children.
• Build capacity at national and local levels to ensure programme sustainability.
• Advocate for children's rights and coordinate partnerships with government, civil society, and UN partners.
• Oversee field office operations and ensure effective results-based programme management.

Requirements

• Advanced university degree in Social Sciences, International Relations, Public Administration, or related fields.
• Minimum of eight years of professional experience in programme management, social policy, or public finance.
• Fluency in both English and Spanish is required.
• Experience in managing a field office and working in developing countries.
• Background in engaging with private sector partnerships, particularly in extractive industries.
• Demonstrated experience in supervising teams and familiarity with results-based management.

Nice to have

• Knowledge of another official UN language (Arabic, Chinese, French, or Russian).
• Experience in Public Finance for Children (PF4C).
• Familiarity with hirify.global emergency programme policies and humanitarian contexts.
• Experience working within government environments.
