Programme Manager (Humanitarian Response)

What you will do

• Lead the overall design, planning, and implementation of Child Protection (CP) and MHPSS programs in Jamaica.
• Manage the co-implementation partnership with ADRA Jamaica and maintain active coordination with UNICEF.
• Directly supervise and coach the MHPSS & Child Protection Officer and the Operations Officer.
• Establish and oversee robust monitoring and data collection systems for internal and donor reporting.
• Manage program budgets, monitor expenditures, and ensure financial compliance with UNICEF and internal standards.
• Ensure all activities adhere to safeguarding, PSEA policies, and international humanitarian ethical standards.

Requirements

• Higher education degree in International Development, Social Sciences, Psychology, or Social Work.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in humanitarian response or international development.
• At least 2 years in a program management or senior coordination role.
• Demonstrated experience managing programs in the Protection sector (CP, MHPSS, GBV).
• Fluent in English, written and spoken.
• Experience managing programs funded by UN agencies, preferably UNICEF.

Nice to have

• Experience working in Jamaica or the Caribbean.
• Background in Jamaican social work, community mental health, or child protection services.
• Familiarity with UNICEF eTools or similar program management frameworks.
• Experience working within co-implementation or partnership structures.
