What you will do

• Lead and direct the on-site IT team to ensure daily operational excellence.
• Manage IT projects from inception to delivery, ensuring alignment with business needs.
• Ensure all IT systems and processes adhere to strict GxP/GCP quality and compliance standards.
• Monitor and report on site IT expenditure and provide capital expenditure recommendations.
• Collaborate with international colleagues to support global Discovery IT strategy.
• Maintain the risk register and track follow-up actions to minimize operational risks.

Requirements

• Fluent English proficiency required.
• Proven experience in regulated environments (GxP) or equivalent transferable domain.
• Previous line management or leadership experience.
• In-depth technical knowledge of networking and virtualization (VMware/Hyper-V).
• Proficiency in cloud technologies (AWS/Azure) and backup solutions (Veeam/Acronis).
• Industry-recognized technical certification (e.g., Microsoft, AWS, VMware, CompTIA).
