TL;DR

Training Specialist (Content Developer) (DoD): Producing training aids, guides, and system help content for a large enterprise aircrew community with an accent on translating complex system functionality into plain-language documentation. Focus on developing role-specific training materials and aligning content with sprint releases and feature changes.

Location: Remote (US). Must hold or be able to pass a Federal Background investigation (T1/Public Trust) and obtain a DoD Secret Clearance.

What you will do

• Write and produce training aids, guides, quick reference cards, and system help content for enterprise end-users.
• Develop role-specific training materials aligned to defined user personas across the aircrew community.
• Maintain and update training content in synchronization with sprint releases and feature changes.
• Collaborate with the Lead Trainer, product team, and functional SMEs to validate content accuracy.
• Support in-application UX copy review, including tooltips, error messages, and field labels.
• Perform in-person and virtual training for aircrew across various DoD bases and MAJCOMS.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent and 5+ years of related experience.
• 5+ years of aircrew technical writing or instructional content development experience.
• Must be able to pass a Federal Background investigation to obtain a T1 (Public Trust or NACI).
• Ability to obtain an active DoD Secret Clearance.
• Demonstrated ability to translate complex system functionality into plain-language user documentation.
• Experience producing training materials for enterprise software rollouts.

Nice to have

• UX design professional certification(s).
• Experience using aircrew LMS systems like PEX, GTIMS, and/or Puckboard.
• Experience with Salesforce or similar enterprise platform rollouts.
