Pharmacy Dispenser (Medical): Supporting the day-to-day dispensing, ordering, and supply of pharmacy products for homecare patients with an accent on accuracy, compliance, and efficient stock management. Focus on maintaining high standards of service, coordinating with internal teams, and ensuring adherence to GPhC and GDP guidelines.

What you will do

• Support the pharmacy team with dispensing prescriptions and preparing patient deliveries.
• Pick, dispense, and prepare pharmacy items while coordinating deliveries with couriers.
• Maintain appropriate stock levels, manage returns, and resolve discrepancies.
• Use SAP and internal systems to manage pick lists and maintain accurate patient records.
• Ensure adherence to GDP guidelines, SOPs, and GPhC standards.
• Collaborate with internal departments to support patient transitions from hospital to home.

Requirements

• Must be based in or able to commute to Sheffield, UK.
• GCSE Mathematics and English or equivalent.
• Experience working in a pharmacy dispensary, distribution, or warehouse environment.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy in handling prescriptions and stock.
• Patient-focused approach with a commitment to high-quality service.
• Ability to prioritize workload and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

Nice to have

• Dispensing Assistant qualification (Level 2 or equivalent).
