What you will do

• Build backend services for high-volume real-time aircraft telemetry.
• Design and improve data ingestion, streaming, and event processing pipelines (batch and real-time).
• Refactor existing services and operate cloud-based platforms primarily on AWS.
• Implement robust data collection, transformation, and storage solutions.
• Improve observability, reliability, and operational tooling for production systems.
• Collaborate with software engineers, data engineers, and analysts to deliver reliable data products.

Requirements

• Strong professional experience with C++, Python, Go, or Rust.
• Proven track record of designing and operating production backend systems.
• Experience with data engineering architectures and event-driven systems (e.g., Kafka).
• Proficiency with AWS and various SQL/NoSQL databases.
• Must be located in or able to work from Stockholm, Sweden.
• Professional proficiency in English.

Nice to have

• Experience with Machine Learning concepts and data platforms for ML workloads.
• Experience working with high-volume real-time telemetry or tracking data.
• Domain knowledge in aviation data standards (e.g., ADS-B).
