What you will do

• Own projects end-to-end from ambiguity to delivery with high autonomy, coordinating with stakeholders and driving specifications.
• Develop and maintain backend services using pragmatic Haskell, Elm, and PostgreSQL.
• Ensure high quality and reliability through collaborative code reviews, automated tests, and bug fixing.
• Deploy and manage systems using Argo CD and Kubernetes, participating in incident management.
• Leverage agentic AI tools like Claude Code as a force multiplier to delegate tasks and optimize engineering workflows.
• Drive continuous improvement of internal processes regarding development and deployment.

Requirements

• 8+ years of professional software engineering experience with substantial commercial Haskell experience.
• Deep expertise in advanced type-level techniques, effect systems (MTL, Effectful), and Haskell performance.
• Proven track record of shipping and owning production-quality systems.
• Hands-on experience using agentic AI tools (e.g., Claude Code, Codex) in a real engineering workflow.
• Fluency in English, both written and spoken.
• EU work permit or EU citizenship.

Nice to have

• Experience leading engineering teams or acting as a technical lead/mentor.
• Open-source contributions to the Haskell ecosystem.
• Experience with digital signatures (eIDAS, PAdES, QES) and the PDF standard.
• Willingness to work with Kotlin and/or Elixir.
