What you will do

• Set the data and ML direction for the Insights area, aligning product, engineering, and leadership teams.
• Build and own the intelligence platform that powers UI features and external AI agents.
• Define measurement and experimentation standards to ensure durable lift and system performance.
• Partner with Staff Engineers to design architecture that turns raw interaction data into a defensible asset.
• Implement rigorous AI quality bars, failure mode analysis, and feedback loops to ensure system reliability.
• Make pragmatic decisions on when to utilize ML, GenAI, or simpler heuristics to deliver user value.

Requirements

• Must be based in or able to work from Stockholm, Sweden.
• Several years of experience leading data-driven or ML-backed products end-to-end, ideally in B2B SaaS.
• Proven experience building data systems where the core value is the system itself, including pipelines and models.
• Strong fluency in experimentation, A/B testing, incrementality, and causal inference.
• Experience leading shared-capability or platform work requiring cross-team adoption and alignment.
• English proficiency required (C1+ level).

Nice to have

• Experience with recommendation engines or ranking and personalization systems.
• Familiarity with AI ecosystems and integration patterns such as MCP.
