What you will do
- Lead cross-functional due diligence projects focusing on data architecture, analytics maturity, and data monetization.
- Evaluate technology landscapes to advise on scalability, cost optimization, and long-term value capture.
- Craft investment narratives and data-driven roadmaps for pre- and post-close M&A scenarios.
- Present strategic findings and recommendations to senior executive stakeholders.
- Coach and mentor data engineers, architects, and analysts to foster a culture of technical excellence.
- Drive business development by identifying opportunities with existing clients and coordinating with internal leads.
Requirements
- 8+ years of hands-on experience in data engineering and analytics delivery.
- Advanced degree in computer science, information systems, or a related field.
- Proven track record of architecting complex data models and executing large-scale cloud migrations.
- Strong knowledge of data warehousing concepts (Kimball, Inmon) and dimensional modeling.
- Ability to manage proposal work, project estimation, and stakeholder expectations.
- Must be willing to travel up to 30-50% for client engagements.
