TL;DR

Wlan Engineer (Aruba): Providing pre and post-sales design and consulting services for next-generation network access solutions with an accent on the complete services lifecycle from planning to optimization. Focus on implementing and optimizing Aruba-HPE products, resolving complex network issues, and ensuring security conformance for enterprise customers.

Location: Hybrid (average 2 days per week from an HPE office)

What you will do

• Provide pre and post-sales design and consulting services to Aruba-HPE teams, customers, and partners.
• Manage the complete services lifecycle including planning, design, implementation, migration, and optimization.
• Develop customer requirement documents, high-level and low-level design documents, and installation plans.
• Analyze and resolve reported technical issues and simulate customer designs in a lab environment.
• Facilitate Quarterly Customer Review meetings to provide technical status and recommendations.
• Collaborate with QA, field organizations, and internal Aruba/HPE colleagues.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in computer engineering or electrical engineering.
• 3+ years of experience in customer-facing consulting and design.
• 3+ years of experience with Aruba products (IAPs/Controllers, Airwave, ClearPass, Central, Aruba switches).
• Strong knowledge of authentication protocols and L2/L3 networking protocols.
• Experience configuring and troubleshooting VoIP protocols like SIP, SVP, and H323.
• Ability to multitask and work independently with minimal supervision.

Nice to have

• Industry certifications such as CCIE, CWNA, ACCP, ACMP, ACMX, ACDX, or RHEL.
• Expertise in BGP, OSPF, VXLAN, MSTP, and Datacentre design.
• Skills in Linux installations, Python (API), and Cloud technologies (Docker, Kubernetes, AWS, Azure).
• Experience with SQL (Postgres), Windows Sysadmin (AD, GPO), and LDAP.
• Knowledge of Radius, TACACS, PKI, and Captive Portal configurations.
