• Design and develop automated test scripts covering complex business requirements with an automation-first mindset
• Execute manual and automated test cases to validate backend and mainframe application logic
• Collaborate with Agile teams on shift-left testing, automation reuse, and quality engineering best practices
• Document and track defects with detailed reproduction steps and results
• Communicate quality, resource, and project issues effectively to management
• Navigate complex challenges by involving others to solve problems and achieve goals

Requirements

• Location: Waterloo, Ontario, Canada with hybrid work format
• 3-5 years of relevant experience in development and/or quality automation
• Experience with manual and automated testing of mainframe and backend web services
• Proficiency in test automation tools such as ReadyAPI, Bruno, Postman, Tricentis Tosca, Cucumber, Selenium
• Experience with Agile methodologies, DevOps, CI/CD pipeline integration (Jenkins, Jira, qTest)
• Knowledge of Java, Groovy, Python, or C# and databases like MongoDB, SQL, DB2, IMS
• English language proficiency at least B2; French required for Quebec location
