Location: Hybrid in Greater Toronto Area (GTA), Canada (office attendance average 4 days a week)

What you will do

  • Develop and execute comprehensive test plans, test cases, and scripts specifically for Salesforce Marketing Cloud (SFMC).
  • Perform functional, integration, regression, and UAT testing across Email Studio, Journey Builder, and Automation Studio.
  • Validate email templates, personalization, dynamic content, AMPscript, and data extensions.
  • Verify REST/SOAP API integrations between SFMC and external systems like Salesforce CRM and third-party platforms.
  • Test marketing automations, triggers, and audience segmentation logic to ensure accuracy.
  • Identify and track defects using JIRA while collaborating with marketing and development teams to resolve issues.

Requirements

  • 2+ years of experience in QA testing for Salesforce Marketing Cloud (SFMC) or similar email marketing platforms.
  • Hands-on experience testing AMPscript, SSJS, SQL queries, and dynamic content.
  • Proficiency in validating SFMC API integrations and using tools like Postman, Selenium, or TestRail.
  • Strong understanding of email rendering across various devices, browsers, and clients.
  • Knowledge of email deliverability and compliance standards including CAN-SPAM, GDPR, and CASL.
  • Ability to work in an Agile environment with strong attention to detail.
