TL;DR

What you will do

  • Serve as the first point of contact for IT issues and security incidents, aiming for first-time resolution.
  • Provide deskside and remote support to the business user base.
  • Manage service and security incidents within a ticketing system, adhering to SLAs and KPIs.
  • Administer Active Directory and manage VOIP/digital phone systems.
  • Troubleshoot network connectivity issues and monitor infrastructure performance.
  • Assist with software distribution, patch management, and security compliance processes.

Requirements

  • Minimum 1 year of experience in a managed IT service desk role.
  • Must have the right to work in the UK with at least one year remaining on any visa (no sponsorship provided).
  • Proficiency with Windows 10 and 11 operating systems.
  • Experience with Office365, anti-malware solutions, and basic networking.
  • Understanding of ITIL service management models.
  • Strong communication skills and ability to work under pressure.

Nice to have

  • CompTIA or other relevant IT certifications.
  • Experience with server, virtualization, and cloud solution support.
  • Previous exposure to the legal or insurance industry.
