What you will do

• Design, develop, and maintain in-house systems and third-party integrations.
• Collaborate with Risk and Finance teams to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
• Provide technical support for internal Python libraries, cloud infrastructure, and enterprise data access.
• Contribute to architectural design and identify opportunities for platform scalability.
• Develop data visualizations for internal dashboards and reporting tools.
• Perform data cleansing, enrichment, and transformation using scalable techniques.

Requirements

• Approximately 5 years of experience in software engineering.
• Essential: Current experience in a commodities trading environment.
• Strong proficiency in Python, including Pandas, NumPy, and Plotly.
• Experience building APIs with Python frameworks, preferably FastAPI.
• Familiarity with AWS services (Lambda, Step Functions, ECS, DynamoDB, CDK).
• Understanding of containerization (Docker, Kubernetes) and distributed data processing.

Nice to have

• Experience with event-driven architectures.
• Experience applying AI tools, LLMs, and agent-based workflows.
• Familiarity with Model Context Protocol servers.
