What you will do

• Design and implement scalable data solutions including telemetry pipelines and analytics platforms.
• Develop data warehouse and lakehouse designs and reporting foundations.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to clarify requirements and plan technical delivery.
• Build and operate reliable data products with a focus on validation and cost control.
• Contribute to adjacent areas such as backend services, infrastructure, and SDK development.

Requirements

• Strong experience in designing and operating data platforms and pipelines.
• Proficiency in data modelling, quality assurance, and observability.
• Strong software engineering skills and ability to work with ambiguity.
• Ability to communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Must be based in or be able to commute to the Cardiff office (Hybrid).

Nice to have

• Proficiency in Python, SQL, C#, Golang, Java, Kotlin, TypeScript, or Rust.
• Experience with BigQuery, Snowflake, Redshift, Databricks, or NoSQL technologies.
• Knowledge of Airflow, dbt, Spark, or Hadoop.
• Experience with AWS, Terraform, Docker, and Kubernetes.
• Prior experience in the games industry.
