What you will do

• Perform monthly, quarterly, and annual close activities for the Mexico region.
• Prepare and review general ledger journal entries, accruals, provisions, and adjustments.
• Execute and maintain balance sheet account reconciliations to ensure accuracy.
• Support financial statement preparation in accordance with IFRS standards.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, and Controllership.
• Actively support internal and external audit processes.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Minimum 3 years of relevant experience in General Ledger or Record-to-Report (R2R) processes.
• Fluent Spanish and B2 English proficiency required.
• Experience supporting Mexico operations.
• Advanced proficiency in SAP, specifically the FI (Financial Accounting) module.
• Strong knowledge of IFRS accounting standards.

Nice to have

• Experience working in a Shared Service Center (SSC) environment.
• SAP integration experience with Purchasing (MM) and Sales (SD) modules.
