Controller (Financial Reporting)

What you will do

• Lead month-end and year-end close processes with a target of a 5-business-day close.
• Prepare and review GAAP or IFRS-compliant financial statements, including P&L, Balance Sheet, and Cash Flow.
• Design, implement, and maintain effective internal control frameworks and coordinate external audits.
• Partner with FP&A and leadership on annual budgets, forecasting, and capital allocation decisions.
• Monitor cash flow, liquidity, and working capital while overseeing banking relationships.
• Mentor the accounting team and lead ERP implementations or optimization initiatives.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• 7+ years of progressive accounting or finance experience.
• 2+ years of accounting leadership or team management experience.
• Strong knowledge of GAAP, IFRS, and financial reporting standards.
• Experience with ERP systems such as NetSuite, SAP, Oracle, or QuickBooks Enterprise.
• Must be comfortable working remotely during U.S. business hours.

Nice to have

• Professional certification: CPA, ACCA, CMA, or an MBA.
• Industry experience in SaaS, Professional Services, Real Estate, or Technology.
• Familiarity with BI platforms such as Power BI, Tableau, or Looker.
• Experience with ERP migrations or M&A integration projects.
