What you will do

• Deliver modular, secure, and reusable infrastructure components using Terraform and automation pipelines.
• Implement standardized building blocks for Kubernetes clusters, ingress, networking, and identity integrations.
• Embed operational resilience by integrating logging, metrics, and alerting as default platform characteristics.
• Integrate cloud security and compliance requirements, such as IAM boundaries and encryption, into delivery pipelines.
• Develop internal APIs, CLI tools, and service wrappers to improve the developer experience and simplify consumption.
• Mentor Cloud Operations team members and maintain comprehensive platform documentation.

Requirements

• Solid hands-on experience in platform engineering or infrastructure delivery within cloud-native environments.
• Proficiency with Terraform, IaC practices, and CI/CD tools (e.g., GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps).
• Experience developing tooling or platform components using Java, C#, or C++.
• Strong understanding of Azure and/or AWS cloud services.
• Experience with Kubernetes, container orchestration, and workload identity.
• Ability to leverage AI tools and prompting techniques to increase development efficiency.

Nice to have

• Experience with GitOps workflows and policy-as-code frameworks (e.g., CIS benchmarks).
• Experience working in regulated environments (SOC 2, ISO 27001, FedRAMP).
• Understanding of platform SLOs, error budgets, and operational maturity models.
• Experience building self-service developer experiences or "golden paths".
