DevOps Engineer (iGaming)

TL;DR

DevOps Engineer (AWS/Terraform): Designing and automating cloud infrastructure for a global iGaming platform with an accent on CI/CD strategies and system observability. Focus on scaling cloud-native environments, implementing Infrastructure as Code, and ensuring platform stability.

Location: Hybrid (Malta or Bulgaria); expectation to be in the office 4 days a week

What you will do

• Design, configure, and deliver cloud infrastructure using automation and security best practices.
• Implement CI/CD strategies to evolve the product development lifecycle and cross-functional collaboration.
• Create comprehensive technical documentation for Development, QA, Technical Operations, and Product teams.
• Build and maintain tools to enhance observability, ensuring platform stability and uptime targets are met.
• Promote the use of cloud-native tools and methodologies within a high-performance enablement team.

Requirements

• 2-4 years of DevOps experience across various industries.
• Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, Bash, or Go and strong Linux administration skills.
• Extensive experience with AWS, Terraform (IaC), and Ansible (Configuration Management).
• Working knowledge of Docker, Kubernetes, ECS, and EKS.
• Experience with CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GH Actions) and version control (GitHub, BitBucket).
• Must be based in or be able to work from the office in Sliema (Malta) or Sofia (Bulgaria).

Nice to have

• Knowledge of CircleCI and Kubernetes-related tools like ArgoCD and Flux.
• Experience with monitoring tools such as Elasticsearch, Prometheus, Splunk, DataDog, Grafana, or Zabbix.
• Knowledge of Kafka, MSK, and Kafka Connect.
• Experience in networking and cloud-based DNS services like Cloudflare.
