What you will do

  • Lead and develop the multidisciplinary IDNO Operations team to support business growth.
  • Oversee operational activities including asset adoption, network operations, and regulatory compliance.
  • Manage asset lifecycle performance, technical standards, and land rights.
  • Define strategies for network maintenance, reliability, and incident management.
  • Ensure compliance with Ofgem licence obligations and industry safety regulations.
  • Manage operational budgets, financial planning, and performance reporting.

Requirements

  • Extensive experience within regulated electricity distribution networks is required.
  • Strong knowledge of electricity distribution licence obligations and industry codes.
  • Proven track record in operational excellence and asset lifecycle management.
  • Ability to build strategic relationships with regulators, DNOs, and ICPs.
  • Strong financial planning, budgeting, and performance management skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and business management systems.
