Power Engineer (Electrical)

TL;DR

Power Engineer (Electrical): Delivering customer networks, platforms, and systems related to power and connectivity for critical national infrastructure with an accent on mechanical and electrical equipment maintenance. What you will do

• Establish technical objectives and delegate responsibilities across the organization.
• Influence senior management, customers, and suppliers regarding technical direction and resourcing.
• Direct work resourcing and resolve site-specific issues and problems.
• Perform technical coaching and mentoring for team members.
• Manage the installation, integration, and testing of transmission networks and management platforms.
• Coordinate multiple concurrent projects while meeting strict deadlines under pressure.

Requirements

• DV (Developed Vetting) level Security Clearance is required.
• Must have lived in the UK for 10+ years to be eligible for clearance.
• Knowledge of Transmission Networks and management platforms.
• Experience in network installation, integration, and testing.
• Ability to work with stakeholders to clearly capture requirements.
• Compliance knowledge of UK Electricity at Work Regulations 1989.

Nice to have

• Experience in the upgrade and decommission of Mechanical & Electrical equipment.
• Experience performing ongoing maintenance and reactive repair of M&E equipment on GSE sites.
• Experience with PPM (Planned Preventive Maintenance) requirements for M&E assets.
