Power Engineer (Security)

Location: Must be based in Ipswich, Sheffield, Manchester, Edinburgh, or Glasgow. Role is 100% onsite (5 days per week).

What you will do

• Manage and coordinate multiple concurrent engineering projects related to power and connectivity.
• Perform ongoing maintenance, repair, and upgrades of mechanical and electrical equipment on site.
• Ensure all installations comply with the UK Electricity at Work Regulations 1989.
• Direct work resourcing and resolve site-specific technical issues.
• Provide technical coaching and mentoring to delivery teams.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to capture and define technical requirements.

Requirements

• Must be able to obtain and hold DV (Developed Vetting) level Security Clearance.
• Must have lived in the UK for at least 10 years to qualify for security clearance.
• Experience with transmission network management platforms and network installation.
• Proven ability to manage concurrent projects under pressure.
• Strong relationship management and stakeholder coordination skills.
• Experience with mechanical and electrical equipment maintenance and compliance.
