What you will do

• Establish, implement, and maintain effective Temporary Works (TW) procedures and governance.
• Oversee risk management and appoint competent Temporary Works Coordinators and Supervisors.
• Lead audits and inspections, challenging project teams to ensure standards are met.
• Ensure full compliance with Legislation, BS 5975, CDM requirements, and industry best practices.
• Act as the senior business representative for all TW activities, escalating critical risks to the Executive Board.
• Monitor staff development, training requirements, and conduct monthly TW inspections.

Requirements

• CEng status within a relevant Engineering Council Approved Body (IMechE, ICE, IET, or PWI).
• Valid UK Driving Licence for travel across the UK.
• Proven competence at CEM/Engineering Manager level.
• Deep knowledge of CDM Regulations and safety/performance standards for TW activities.
• Experience in Requirements Management.
