What you will do

• Build and maintain SDKs, libraries, and shared engineering components used across multiple teams.
• Develop cross-team platform solutions and engineering standards.
• Implement observability tooling and instrumentation using OpenTelemetry.
• Improve engineering consistency through reusable patterns and automation.
• Support distributed systems and backend engineering initiatives within C# and Python environments.

Requirements

• Strong software engineering background in C# and/or Python.
• Experience building SDKs, libraries, or internal developer tooling.
• Familiarity with observability concepts such as tracing, metrics, and logging.
• Experience working in distributed systems or platform-style environments.
• Strong understanding of software design patterns and reusable architecture.
• Must be based in London to support a hybrid work model.

Nice to have

• Hands-on OpenTelemetry experience.
• Experience with Kubernetes and cloud-native environments.
• Exposure to DevOps, CI/CD, or automation tooling.
• Background in platform engineering or SRE-style roles.
