What you will do

• Assess and evaluate existing design systems, processes, and operating models for enterprise clients.
• Define design system strategies, roadmaps, governance models, and adoption plans.
• Design and build scalable systems including components, patterns, foundations, and documentation.
• Partner closely with engineering teams to ensure systems work effectively across design and code.
• Utilize AI and emerging technologies to improve how systems are created and maintained.
• Guide client teams through implementation and adoption challenges to ensure consistency and quality.

Requirements

• Deep expertise in scalable product design and the evolution of design systems across multiple business units.
• Strong understanding of component architecture, design tokens, and accessibility.
• Proven consulting and communication skills with the ability to influence stakeholders.
• Experience working in enterprise, B2B, or platform environments.
• Must be based in Portugal.
• Extensive experience integrating AI into day-to-day design practices.
