What you will do

• Shape the technical direction of the program and lead cross-functional program delivery.
• Provide coaching, mentorship, and professional development for engineering team members.
• Partner with key stakeholders to advocate for technical solutions and communicate design tradeoffs.
• Manage hiring, performance evaluations, and team administrative tasks including PTO and timecards.
• Develop written communication and presentations to describe complex systems and design decisions.
• Participate in bid-writing, technical demonstrations, and strategic planning.

Requirements

• Must be based in the USA (implied by 401K and nationwide hiring).
• Bachelor’s degree and 7+ years of engineering experience.
• Expert experience with Ruby on Rails and API Design & Development.
• Experience with React, Redux, JavaScript, HTML, and CSS.
• Proficiency with Postman, Datadog, and RSpec.
• Proven experience mentoring junior developers and triaging production issues.

Nice to have

• Prior government contracting experience.
• Experience with Oracle Health or VA Health EHRM Systems.
