TL;DR
Tech Lead (Node.js/TypeScript): Designing and scaling a core software platform for patient journey and supply chain operations with an accent on cloud infrastructure and AI integration. Focus on architecting performant applications, managing AWS services, and leveraging agentic coding to drive development efficiency.
Location: Remote in the UK with some travel to sites in London and Winnersh
Salary: £90K – £100K

What you will do
- Design, architect, and build performant, scalable applications using modern web technologies.
- Manage and enhance AWS/GCP cloud infrastructure for security, scalability, and reliability.
- Act as the primary technical point of contact for the team, collaborating closely with the Head of Engineering.
- Own solutions end-to-end, from requirements gathering with end-users to delivery, monitoring, and continuous improvement.
- Leverage AI and agentic coding to increase development efficiency while ensuring codebase excellence.
Requirements
- Must be based in the UK for occasional travel to London and Winnersh.
- 2+ years of experience as a Tech Lead or Lead Engineer.
- 5+ years in software development with strong Node.js, TypeScript, and relational database skills.
- 3+ years of experience managing AWS infrastructure (Lambda, RDS, SQS).
- Experience with CI/CD and Infrastructure as Code (IaC).
- Proven experience in E-commerce or API design and integration.
Nice to have
- Experience or a strong interest in agentic coding.
- Strong affinity for mathematics and engineering fundamentals.
