What you will do

• Independently manage a portfolio of Power, Renewables, and Upstream Energy claims.
• Mentor junior staff and provide technical referrals.
• Collaborate with underwriters and claims colleagues to design and implement the claims service proposition.
• Conduct regular technical reporting and engage with key internal and external stakeholders.
• Participate in quarterly account reviews and the reserving process.
• Travel for settlement meetings, client liaison, and industry conferences.

Requirements

• Significant experience (ideally 7+ years) handling Energy claims within the London Market.
• Background at an insurer, loss adjusting firm, or broking house.
• Established relationships and a strong professional reputation in the energy insurance industry.
• Strong communication skills and a pragmatic, solution-oriented approach to complex issues.
• Must be based in London.
• Willingness to travel for business purposes.
