What you will do

• Facilitate the knowledge transfer and smooth takeover of an existing Mendix-based application ecosystem from another delivery team.
• Analyze business requirements to design, develop, and optimize enterprise applications using Mendix Studio Pro, Microflows, and Domain Modeling.
• Collaborate with Java Engineers to create custom components and integrate applications via REST and SOAP APIs.
• Troubleshoot application defects and contribute to architecture discussions to ensure scalable and maintainable solutions.
• Work within an Agile framework, participating in ceremonies and collaborating with Business Analysts and stakeholders.
• Mentor team members and promote development best practices across the organization.

Requirements

• Strong hands-on experience with Mendix development in enterprise environments.
• Proficiency in integrating applications using REST and/or SOAP services.
• Experience working in Agile environments with strong stakeholder management skills.
• Must be based in Romania.
• Proven ability to use AI tools responsibly to automate repetitive work and improve delivery quality.

Nice to have

• Experience with Java and custom Mendix extensions.
• Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices.
• Experience with cloud environments such as Mendix Cloud, Azure, or AWS.
• Official Mendix certifications.
