What you will do

• Lead end-to-end product research initiatives across multiple domains to identify key problems and uncover user insights.
• Influence product strategy and roadmaps by translating user behaviors and friction points into actionable opportunities.
• Design and execute mixed-method studies, including interviews, usability testing, surveys, and journey mapping.
• Synthesize qualitative and quantitative inputs into clear narratives and frameworks for executive stakeholders.
• Build and scale research operations, including tooling, templates, and participant recruitment systems.
• Mentor cross-functional partners in Product, Design, and Engineering on user-centered development.

Requirements

• Extensive experience in product research for consumer-facing digital products in high-ambiguity environments.
• Proven success in a senior or staff-level IC role influencing strategy across multiple teams.
• Deep expertise in qualitative research with the ability to integrate quantitative data.
• Strong communication and storytelling skills tailored for both technical teams and executives.
• Must be based in Canada.
• Comfort using modern AI tools responsibly to accelerate research workflows.

• Experience in fintech, banking, payments, credit, or other trust-sensitive domains.
