What you will do

  • Translate business needs and complex payment flows into well-formed user stories and clear acceptance criteria.
  • Align with the Product Owner to ensure the scrum backlog is prioritized, refined, and ready for development.
  • Elicit and document end-to-end SEPA domain requirements across SCT, SCT-inst, SDD, and SCC.
  • Ensure regulatory and security considerations (PCI DSS, PSD2, GDPR) are embedded as non-functional requirements.
  • Facilitate stakeholder workshops, interviews, and demonstrations to obtain formal sign-offs.
  • Coordinate with security, privacy, and QA teams for vulnerability validation and UAT planning.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of Business Analysis experience in payments, fintech, or financial services.
  • Deep knowledge of payment ecosystems, including SEPA, settlement processes, and reconciliation.
  • Proven success working in Agile settings (Scrum, Kanban, or hybrid).
  • Solid understanding of payment security standards: PCI DSS, PSD2, and GDPR.
  • Proficiency in data analysis using SQL and Excel/Sheets.
  • Experience with Agile tooling such as Jira and Confluence.

Nice to have

  • Exposure to API-first architectures and microservices.
  • Experience with API testing tools like Postman.
