What you will do

• Manage power, cooling, networking, and hardware deployments to ensure 99.999% uptime for AI compute systems.
• Lead, train, and develop a team of Data Center Operations Technicians in a high-performance environment.
• Oversee hardware lifecycles, incident resolution, and inventory management to ensure operational precision.
• Coordinate between technicians, AI specialists, and external vendors to integrate new technology and expand capacity.
• Champion energy-efficient practices and sustainability efforts to optimize resources for AI workloads.
• Track and report key performance metrics such as uptime and power efficiency to inform site decisions.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in data center operations or similar critical environments.
• 3+ years of experience managing technical teams.
• Solid expertise in server hardware, cabling, and data center lifecycle management.
• Must be based in or able to work onsite in Memphis, TN.
• Physical capability to lift up to 50 lbs, stand for long periods, and use ladders.

Nice to have

• Experience supporting compute-heavy environments like AI, machine learning, or HPC.
• Proficiency with Jira and managing collaborative workflows.
• Familiarity with scripting in Python or Bash to automate tasks.
• Experience partnering with vendors and scaling operations.
