Location: Central London - 3 days a week in the office

Salary: £150,000 - £200,000 + bonus

A leading Financial Services organisation based in London.

What you will do

• Build and own platforms and tools that enable scalable, resilient, and high-performance systems.
• Develop and maintain SDKs and libraries used across a wide range of applications to facilitate seamless data movement.
• Work within the Platform Engineering function to support systems processing large volumes of data.
• Ensure the scalability and reliability of the core infrastructure and internal tools.

Requirements

• Expert level proficiency in Python.
• Strong experience with Kubernetes.
• DevOps experience with tools such as Terraform, ArgoCD, Helm, or other Infrastructure as Code (IaC) solutions.
• Degree in Computer Science, ideally at Masters or PhD level.
• Must be based in or able to commute to Central London for 3 days a week.

Nice to have

• Experience with Kafka, Spark, or Trino.
