What you will do

• Design, develop, and maintain shared Python libraries used across multiple teams and services.
• Contribute to the development of a schema management toolchain for a large-scale distributed platform.
• Improve platform reliability, maintainability, and the overall developer experience.
• Collaborate with engineering teams to define and implement reusable solutions and best practices.
• Support observability and monitoring initiatives using distributed tracing and OpenTelemetry.
• Contribute to CI/CD processes and software delivery automation.

Requirements

• 4+ years of experience in Python development.
• Experience designing and maintaining shared libraries, SDKs, or reusable components.
• Hands-on experience with GCP Pub/Sub.
• Practical knowledge of distributed tracing and observability (OTEL).
• Experience with GitHub Actions and CI/CD pipelines.
• Work permit and residency in the EU region are required.
• English: Minimum B2 level required.

Nice to have

• Familiarity with Avro schemas and schema management solutions.
• Experience with application resilience patterns and progressive rollout strategies.
• Experience applying GenAI in the SDLC via defined workflows or prompt patterns.
• Interest in agent-based workflows and AI-augmented development.
