Software Engineer (Python)

Software Engineer (Python): Developing backend APIs, jobs, and data pipelines with an accent on clean, maintainable code, TDD, DDD, and scalable distributed systems. Focus on building event consumers, concurrent programming, and integrating with cloud infrastructure in a fintech environment.

Location: Offices in Dubai, Krakow, Madrid, Barcelona with remote work allowed from Poland, Spain, or UAE. Relocation support provided to Poland, Spain, or UAE.

Salary: PLN 28,300 - 40,000 gross monthly (Poland locations)

What you will do

• Build APIs, jobs, and data pipelines designed and scaled to business needs
• Write event consumers to develop data models for new flows and processes
• Maintain clean, test-driven, and domain-driven codebases
• Collaborate on distributed systems and concurrent programming challenges
• Work with Docker, Kubernetes, Ansible, Teamcity, monitoring, and alerting tools

Requirements

• Must have 5+ years of software engineering experience
• 3+ years of Python as primary language
• Academic background in STEM
• Fluency in Python, SQL, and other OOP languages
• Experience with API development and integration
• Practical understanding of distributed systems and concurrent code
• Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, Ansible, Teamcity, monitoring, and alerting
• Location: Must be based in or willing to relocate to Poland, Spain, or UAE

Nice to have

• Experience with prototyping and sketching
• Multiple side projects or open source contributions
• Exposure to Google Cloud Platform (GCP)
