What you will do

• Lead end-to-end execution of test equipment projects, including requirements definition, design, build, and integration.
• Coordinate cross-functional and cross-site engineering teams across design, controls, software, and instrumentation.
• Define system-level requirements and architectures for validation of aircraft components like servovalves and actuators.
• Manage procurement of test equipment solutions, sub-assemblies, and services from RFQ to acceptance.
• Lead system verification and validation activities, including factory and site acceptance testing.
• Identify technical and program risks early and implement effective mitigation strategies.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Aerospace Engineering.
• 8–15+ years of experience in aerospace, defense, or highly regulated industries.
• Proven experience leading complex engineering projects for test systems or capital equipment.
• Strong knowledge of instrumentation, data acquisition, and control systems (PLC, LabVIEW, MATLAB).
• Demonstrated ability to manage cost, schedule, and technical performance simultaneously.
• Must be based in or able to work from Tewkesbury, GBR on a hybrid basis.

Nice to have

• Experience with aerospace testing standards such as AS9100, DO-160, or MIL-STD.
• PMP certification or equivalent project management experience.
• Earned Value Management experience.
• Proficiency in MS Project.
