Salary: £57,737 - £86,605

What you will do

• Lead concept and detailed design activities for electrified machine systems and subsystems.
• Provide technical leadership within cross-functional task-force teams to drive engineering decisions.
• Work directly with customers to understand requirements and deliver practical engineering solutions.
• Collaborate with build, validation, and system integration teams to improve demonstrator machines.
• Contribute to mechanical and electrical system design, including high-voltage and low-voltage applications.
• Lead technical investigations, root cause analysis, and design reviews to improve machine performance and quality.

Requirements

• Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related discipline.
• Proven track record delivering mechanical or electrical design solutions from concept through validation.
• Demonstrated technical leadership experience in a product development environment.
• Strong analytical and structured problem-solving skills.
• Proficiency in modern engineering design tools such as Creo or equivalent CAD systems.
• Must be eligible to work in the UK as visa sponsorship is not available.

Nice to have

• Experience with electrified machine systems, ePowertrain technologies, or high-voltage architectures.
• Knowledge of DFMEA, DFM, and GD&T engineering processes.
• Experience developing products for regulated markets and certification processes.
