What you will do

• Design and develop storage system software, including kernel-level programming and debugging.
• Write unit tests in C/C++ and develop test automation scripts using Python.
• Contribute to technical design, coding, performance analysis, and troubleshooting across environments.
• Collaborate with a global engineering team to deliver innovative technologies for competitive market requirements.
• Develop and execute comprehensive software test plans and test cases manually and through automation.

Requirements

• Strong programming skills in C/C++ and Python with Linux/UNIX experience.
• Experience in System Software programming and Kernel level debugging.
• Solid understanding of core systems engineering concepts (computer architecture, OS, file systems).
• Bachelor of Science Degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or equivalent experience.
• Ability to work in a hybrid environment in San Jose, CA.

Nice to have

• Experience with storage and cloud technologies.
• Knowledge of storage protocols such as NVMe, SAS, and Fibre Channel.
